HAY Soft Edge 40 chair Smoked oak-black steel frame

Elevate your dining space or home office with the HAY Soft Edge 40 chair, a quintessential example of modern Scandinavian design. Known for its minimalist aesthetic and functional brilliance, this chair perfectly balances organic curves with industrial durability. The smoked oak finish provides a rich, sophisticated depth, while the slender black steel frame ensures a sleek profile that complements any contemporary interior.

Unrivalled Comfort and Scandinavian Craftsmanship

The Soft Edge 40, designed by Iskos-Berlin for HAY, features a seat and backrest moulded from thin, form-pressed plywood. The signature 'soft edge' design ensures that the edges of the seat and back bend away from the body, offering exceptional comfort even during extended periods of use. Whether you are seeking a stylish dining solution or a statement piece for your workspace, this chair provides both ergonomic support and timeless visual appeal.
