HAY Soft Edge 85 Low bar stool Black-black steel frame

Elevate your kitchen island or breakfast bar with the HAY Soft Edge 85 Low bar stool, a masterclass in Scandinavian minimalism and functional design. Part of the iconic Soft Edge series by Iskos-Berlin for Hay, this stool perfectly balances organic curves with industrial strength to create a sophisticated seating solution for the modern home.

Unrivalled Scandinavian Craftsmanship

The Soft Edge 85 is designed with human-centric ergonomics in mind. The seat features a unique, ultra-thin moulded plywood construction that gently curves in all directions, providing surprising comfort despite its sleek, minimalist profile. The striking black-on-black finish—comprising a durable, deep black seat paired with a robust powder-coated steel frame—lends a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic that complements both monochrome interiors and vibrant living spaces.
