The lampshade consists of two metal sheets that overlap in the middle. The low edge allows the built-in LED light to shine out through the middle and bathe the room in an effective light. The light source itself has an opal white lid that allows the light to emerge as a soft, glare-free glow. The design of the Dala Ceiling Lamp is the work of the Italian designer Francesca Smiraglia, who lives and works in Milan. Smiraglia is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and develop new approaches to design. She considers the relationship between people and environments in relation to the formal aesthetic of products. Her focus is on the way humans interact with products and their functionalities.
