The steps involved may differ depending on the brand and model of your appliance. Refer to the user manual of your coffee machine. HOW TO CLEAN AN ESPRESSO MACHINE?1. If your coffee machine is equipped with a blind filter (designed specially for cleaning): Backflushing procedure:- Remove the portafilter and clean the internal edges of the brewing group with a brush. - Take out the regular filter from the portafilter, then insert the blind filter (it's supposed to have no holes in it).- Put a cleaning tablet in the blind filter. - Run the backflushing program. If there's no such program in your appliance, you can perform it manually: start dispensing water, then let it run for 10 seconds. Turn the water off and wait for 10 seconds.
